# Bowtie Engineering

> Bowtie Engineering (legal name: Bowtie Engineering, LLC) provides electrical safety engineering and consulting services from Cumming, Georgia, serving facilities nationwide. John Welch, P.E., C.E.M., is the Founder and CEO. Services include NFPA 70E electrical safety training, incident energy (arc flash) studies, electrical maintenance, NETA-standard electrical testing, infrared thermography, energy solutions and EV charging systems. Bowtie performs testing to NETA standards through NETA-certified technicians with licensed Professional Engineer oversight. Technician certification is separate from company accreditation: Bowtie is not a NETA Accredited Company. When a project requires company accreditation, Bowtie can coordinate with a trusted NETA Accredited Company.
